About Diamond Head Beach Hotel
The Diamond Head Beach Hotel condos make up one of the most unusual buildings on Diamond Head's Gold Coast. The most obvious of its differences is its almost pyramid shape. It never comes close to a point, but the you can clearly see the slope inward from bottom to top, resulting in a thinner cap that stands from the mostly conservative architecture of this area.

This unique feature greatly affects the floor plans because they can't follow the traditional stack of duplicate layouts you see in most condominiums. So, the layouts vary from floor to floor, including as many as 19 different Studio floor plans that range from 236 to 466 sq ft. The 1 and 2BR units have equally large variations, starting at 469 sq ft and going on up to 1305.

The smaller unit sizes are one reason many have bought these as investment properties, rather than primary residences. Another, maybe even greater, reason is that this is the only real condotel on the Gold Coast.

Other neighborhood buildings have strict renting requirements, but the Diamond Head Beach Hotel units can be let out for short-term stays, and that includes nightly terms. That has made them excellent income properties. What vacationer doesn't want to stay in a Gold Coast condo?

Just as with other, similar arrangements, you can manage the rental yourself or put it into the hotel pool and let them worry about it.

One feature your guests will love is the oceanside lawn and recreation area, where people often gather at sunrise to watch that daily wonder paints its colors over the ocean that washes up to the shore just feet away.

Do keep in mind that this is a leasehold property whose lease comes up in 2032. This will be an important point in your purchase for both sides of the table. That fact can present issues for many, but for the right buyer it just might be an opportunity presenting itself.
