Drive east on Kalanianaole Hwy from town and eventually your eyes will be caught by the Gateway Peninsula townhomes, Hawaii Kai's welcome sign. It's the first of the residential complexes on this side of the district and maybe it's most iconic. What draws your gaze are those individual boat docks lying on the water, just a few steps down from these unique homes.
The Gateway Peninsula is made up of 17 3BR and 22 4BR townhomes that are collected in 7 different buildings. All have roomier floor plans than most other Hawaii Kai condos, ranging from 1,912 to 2,014 sq ft so you'll have no end to what you can do here. Each unit also has 2 floors, which not only expand your possibilities, but give some views that extend out to where the marina becomes the ocean.

Most, though not all, have a private dock for not only your boat, but just about any other watercraft you can enjoy the waters in safely. Many residents have kayaks or one-man outriggers that they put in right from home, then head out for some relaxation time on the beautiful Pacific waves.
