The Foster Tower Waikiki condos is a crucial piece of both old and modern Waikiki. It personifies the modern aspects because of the dominance of high-rise condos today, of which it was the first, replacing the many single family homes that once lined the streets. Yet it keeps the old life alive by the fact that it's the only purely residential building left on the main strip of Kalakaua Ave. Without it, that would be the end of the local presence on this significant piece of real estate.

That will not be for some time, fortunately, as indicated by the recent renovations of the building's lobby. The Fee Interest can also be purchased, if it hasn't already been by the unit, so complete ownership is possible. This is a property you can fully invest in, rather than waiting nervously as the lease date comes closer.

The building is best known for sitting ringside to the main beaches of Waikiki, with only the street between it and the sands. If you're on the south side of the the tower, not matter what floor, you have an unobstructed view of the ocean that's something out of a picture book. Being in the midst of the action of Waikiki can make security a concern, but here it's not a worry at all. Security guards are on duty 24 hours, there's video camera surveillance and even fingerprint scanners to restrict access. That's as safe as it gets today.

If you want to live like the elite once did in old Waikiki, Foster Tower is hands down your choice. There's something about gazing out from your home at the unending ocean that makes each day something truly special. Don't your days deserve that?
