BYU Hawaii Farmers Market

BYU Hawaii isn’t just the host, they take an active part in their market. You’ll see herbs and produce from BYU’s own garden for sale right alongside the other vendors. Not only that, you can even try ‘Shine’, a new soap developed at & by BYU, now approved by the FDA. If you want to further support the school, sample their homemade bread and sweets, made in the kitchens nearby. The rest of the 25 or so booths are worth your time as well, including not just other farm offerings, but wellness products, t-shirts and the expected prepared food dishes. Some of that made by, yes, the BYU chefs. To find out which Friday it is opened, call (808) 675-3570 so you don’t make a needless trip.
