Kahala Kua is a newer gated view community - originally developed during the mid 1990’s - consisting of approximately 110 homes, located on a ridge at the top of Poola Street. Kahala Kua is bordered by Waialae Iki to the west and Aina Haina to the east. The entry gate to Kahala Kua is situated approximately 1 mile up Poola St, a narrow road that starts at Waialae Iki Park on the bottom, and steeply winds up the hill along some older more modest homes.
