Ae'o broke ground February 11, 2016 and construction is now underway and so far on target for completion late 2018.
Current availability ranges from a 1BR ~$800,000 to ~$2M for most expensive 3BR. 

Ae’o in Brief
Address: 1001 Queen St, Honolulu, HI 96814 (old Nordstrom Rack location).
The Ae’o condo project - in Kakaako's exclusive Ward Village - is part of Ward Village’s 2nd phase and sales is under way since summer 2015. The project has been nicknamed the “Whole Foods Project” in anticipation of the flagship Whole Foods Market that will be part of the project (expected to open its doors in the first half of 2018).
 
Prices: Studios $406,000 to $650,000;  1BR $573,000 to $1,060,000;  2BR $860,000 to $1,748,000;  3BR $1,390,000 to $2,100,000.

Units: Total 466. 47 x Studio, 182 x 1BR, 177 x 2BR and 60 x 3BR. Living and bedrooms have 8’8 ceiling heights.

Maintenance (HOA) Fees: ~$0.70 / sqf plus $56. Covers basic - electricity and hot water are separate charges.

Configurations: Studio (from 401sqf) to 3BR (up to 1,329sqf). 2 x 3BR will in the front of the tower on most floors. The majority of studio and 1BR units will be on the ewa (west) side of the building.

Also Good to Know About Ae'o
No condos at Ae’o will have a balcony, but the majority will have varying degrees of ocean views, especially on the Diamond Head (east) side. Several units will have a window in the living room pushed out on an angle to enhance the ocean views, which can be pulled open (same concept to opening a door).

There are more than 30 different floor plans, excluding PH units.

Ae’o will have ~60,000sqf of retail space, including a flagship Whole Foods Market. The Ae’o residents will have exclusive access to the Whole Foods Market from the 2nd floor of the parking structure - covered, indoor access.
