The Courtyards at Punahou condos are a rarity for a variety of reasons. The project was a product of the Japanese bubble when money flowed in unprecedented amounts, until it all ended abruptly. Unlike other famous condos linked to that time, this one not only survived the crash, it flourished.

Looking at the amenities you realize that this isn't a property built around attracting residents with lots of extras. What they do have is top level, of course, but the emphasis is on the living spaces, where you spend most of your time and where it counts most.
