A bit to the west of Mokuleia is Dillingham Airfield, where companies offer glider rides an skydiving trips. A bit further to the west, lies the beginning of the hike to Kaena Point, the westernmost point on the island. To the east lies Waialua and Haleiwa, more populated and developed North Shore towns, although both still retain the “small beach town” status.
The biggest draw for home-owners in Mokuleia is the small community, close proximity to a less crowded North Shore beach, and the remoteness you feel when you’re here. In addition, Mokuleia homes are on the nicer, more affluent end of the spectrum. Oceanfront houses are just that: oceanfront on a generally uncrowded, beautiful beach. Houses like those on Crozier Lane offer spectacular views of the water, sunrise and sunset.
