About Fountains at Makiki
The Fountains at Makiki condos are surely the only ones in Honolulu whose floor plans are named after Ancient Roman gods and figures. All 9 layouts are distinguished by labels like Gladiator, Apollo or Claudius. You know this isn't your typical Oahu condominium – and the theme doesn't end there.

Head to the pool where you'll find a deck made of stone tiles, bordered in places by concrete columned railings. At the deep end you're watched over by a white statue that completes the scene perfectly. If a little sweating is called for, do as the Romans did and use the saunas, one for men and one for women.

The gardens in the back feature a central area, enclosed by, yes, columns with statue capped fountains nearby that give the condo its name.

The units here aren't the largest in town, but are decent sized. The 2BRs have from 840 to 966 sq ft and the 3BRs, which make up over half of the complex, have 1025.

This is a gated community and the resident manager is known for running a very tight ship, so it is truly a refuge from the busyness of this part of Makiki and your daily life, despite the traffic of H1 being very nearby. Although you're in the center of an urban area, you can find quiet and serenity inside these gates.

When you do need to leave this haven, that access to the highway can be extremely beneficial. Drive straight down the street and you'll arrive at both Walmart and Ala Moana Shopping Center, which takes care of almost anything you'd need, not to mention the leisure possibilities of Ala Moana Beach Park just a little farther south.
