The Developers
One Ala Moana was developed in a collaboration between renowned Honolulu based developers, Kobayashi Group and The MacNaughton Group (these 2 firms are behind Hokua and Park Lane Ala Moana), and Howard Hughes Corporation - developer of Ward Village, which includes Waiea, Anaha and Ae'o

Architects are Solomon Cordwell Buenz and Benjamin Woo Architects with interior design by Honolulu based Philpotts Interiors.

The Views
Many of the 8th & 9th floor units - facing towards the ocean - have pleasant tree top views and some ocean views.
Units on the 10th to 17th floor facing the ocean, offer varying degrees of pleasant ocean views. One sees the rooftops and parking structure at Ala Moana Shopping Center much more at these levels.
Units facing the ocean on the 18th to 23rd floor offer stunning ocean views.  

Building Structure
One Ala Moana has 2 structures: The Diamond Head wing and the Ewa wing. Each wing has their own dedicated elevators and access to the other wing is only possible from the Terrace level (where the amenities are located).

Parking
The parking garage is located on the 4th and 5th floor. Owners with parking on the 5th floor can access their car by taking 1 elevator from their unit. However, owners with parking stalls on the 4th floor needs to transfer to a 2nd elevator to access their parking (the elevator which also accesses the 1st floor guest lobby). Since parking structure is within the Ala Moana Shopping Center getting out during high season (Christmas and other holidays) can be a bit time consuming. The good news is you can call the front desk staff and they can drive your car down to the 1st floor lobby level. As you drive out on Kapiolani Blvd, only right turn is possible.
